It is with a heavy heart that I have had to make the tough decision to withdraw from Saturday's free skate. I am never one to shy away from a fight, but as some will know I have been skating with an ankle injury and unfortunately during the warm up yesterday I hurt it again. I tried to push through short as well as I could but have come to the conclusion the risk of further injury skating the free is simply too great.

Now I look forward to heading home, making a speedy recovery and coming back fighting!
