Moral dilemmas. What do we believe in? What is art? What is appropriate? What is personal? What is shaming? What is manipulative? What is covert? What is a cover up? What is support? What is selfishness? What is human? What is communal? What is expression? What is America? What is the flag? What does it represent? Are we in this to celebrate our cookie cutter? Where was all the track housing back in the day? Our pride in being less educated and not giving a shit about loving thy neighbor, when did that happen? Where was our always to the death fight for the first amendment and not death in the fight push of the second beyond the gun that it represented but for an arsenal we wanted to compensate for feeling so hated and small and protective of the onslaught of an enemy next door that doesn’t exist? When did mental health increase 500,000 percent or is it something else? When did we decide we liked Ford truck lifts over Hemingway, a big red cup runneth over with money over sitting down and doing homework with your kids? Remember no hands on the table and talking with homeless people on the subway? Remember helping someone get a job who was tight with money at the ranch? Remember prayer that someone would get better? Remember giving charitably? Remember not hating on each other so much? Or did that ever exist? Is anyone more important or valid than another? And why do we act like we hate one another when we haven’t even met? #lifeart
