The students in my class are very hard working and eager to learn. However, at times their home life get in the way of their education. I work in a urban school setting, 98% of the student are on free or reduced lunch. My student’s families don’t have a lot, so I find myself always buying them the things they need, helping out with field trip etc. There are times I go without because I want to purchase things to enhance my students educational experience.
