Happy 85th Birthday to the legendary Quincy Jones, one of my favorite people in the world. Quincy has been a mentor to me for many years. I first met him when I was 17 and over the years we remained close. He executive produced my first TV show “in the house “ and I spent many nights at his kitchen table, listening as he shared his endless wisdom with me. He schooled me on a diverse range of subjects from music to money to maturity.. and I watched him move with class, gratitude, and an unceasing desire to create. He taught me that it’s greater later when you handle your career the right way. We hung out together with everyone from Michael Jackson to Barbara Streisand. From Marlon Brando to Frank Sinatra! I was a young fly on the wall learning and gleaning bits of wisdom from every interaction. Man I could write a book about him. Love him Dearly.
