October approaches and Miyazaki’s characters start popping up in my photos ? it’s aesthetic editing overall but every year I do this sort of thing because when I was little I used to picture little spirits and yokai coming out at night and playing on the trees in my yard. There were tons varying in shapes and sizes and as soon as autumn rolled around I’d get excited imagining them playing together. The closest I can describe to how they looked in my head is that they resemble some of the spirits that come from Studio Ghibli films, this is how I interpret them casually standing by in every day life waiting for dusk to come.
