'One hump or two? The Bactrian (or two-humped) camel is native to #Mongolia, and is uniquely adapted to its desert home. The hump stores fat and becomes floppy and flabby if it’s depleted. Camels rarely sweat and can go for weeks without a drop of water. They have cushioned footpads to walk on sand, and nostrils that close to keep it out.
