On #worldrhinoday i ‘d like to express my gratitude to @dswt and all of the other organizations working to save rhinos from extinction. This is Solio, when she was still living at the #DSWT nursery. Her mother had been fatally wounded ( possibly from poaching)on Solio Ranch in Kenya. And the care and planning involved in saving and raising Solio is a testament to the the deep commitment of everyone at @DSWT . And well worth it because Solio is now living wild in Nairobi National Park . Every single rhino life that is saved is a part of this magnificent species surviving. So that children don’t have read about rhinoceros in the same way that they read about dinosaurs. #worthmorealive
