Views from space never get old! ? Each day, the International Space Station (@国際宇宙ステーション) completes 16 orbits of our home planet as the six humans living and working aboard our orbiting laboratory take in views of Earth while conducting important science and research.
Earlier this summer, @astro_ricky captured and shared this image from 250 miles above, saying, “Even the dark of night cannot subdue the rich hues of the desert bordering the Persian Gulf.” The work of astronauts aboard the space station will not only benefit life here on Earth, but will help us venture deeper into space than ever before.
