I love kids, they teach us so much sometimes. ・・・ For me, when I started wrestling, it was only with boys on an all-boys team. I wanted to be accepted so I dressed like the boys and tried to act like them too, because I thought being accepted meant I had to fit in. It wasn’t until I was older that I became more aware and comfortable with myself as a female wrestler.
・・・ I love seeing young girls having an opportunity to be involved in this great sport and I love seeing them embrace who they are early on... puts such a smile on my face!!
