Last month I got the chance to have a conversation on @Unapologeticamc with @アイシャ・タイラー, @LaverneCox and Robin Weigert. Toxic masculinity affects men, women and gender non-conforming people. The socialization of what it means to be a “real man” is harmful to the full development of men and not to mention negatively impacts how men view and treat women. It’s beyond time to redefine what it means to be a man.

If we do not work to stop the dehumanization of women and trans folk we will continue sacrificing large parts of ourselves and our humanity. We must do better! Now!
