Major Frank Foley CMG saved the lives of over 10,000 Jews from persecution in Germany during the 1920s and 30s – today in Stourbridge, where Major Foley retired and lived quietly for a decade, The Duke of Cambridge unveiled a statue of him.

Major Foley was an MI6 officer, who worked undercover as a Passport Control Officer in the British Consulate in Berlin. 
He provided visas to those who feared persecution under Nazi racial laws and ultimately saved their lives by allowing them to exit the country ?PA
