This little guy is one week old today. @saraagahfranti and I have been going through the incredible process of becoming three. Little Taj is a very calm baby who loves to be snuggled, enjoys making little sounds and rarely cries. The first few days he had a very hard time latching while feeding which was quite stressful, as he lost a bit of weight like babies normally do, but when it’s your kid it seems like the sky is falling. There’s nothing more frustrating and frightening as a parent as seeing your kid hungry, trying his best to get on the breast and just not being able to figure it out. With a lot of diligence and some coaching he eventually got it and is doing great now. Most of the time he’s either sleeping or eating and we get a few moments of eyes open time in between. Today he’s already starting to get more alert and he loves being sung to...however it puts him back to sleep so dad has to just resign to lying on the bed and napping with him...which is totally fine with me.
