We out here representing for @betoorourke in the Golden State!!! (Side note, look at that Santa Monica Sunset! ?) Firstly, Big, Big thanks to @jessestern for being my BETO Eskimo. •
I think BETO can win in Texas. The energy is high and enthusiastic. Which is so exciting. He’s killing it on the road and is earning respect from his fellow Texans. - Do you follow him on social media? Seen his live streams? Check him out for yourself.. I think you’ll agree.
When I heard him speak and deliver his message with such conviction and passion I felt so many things.. I was moved by his commitment to do the work to earn the vote. (his schedule is insane and his road log, insane-er [not a word, I know] He is going far and wide visiting the most remote counties. He’s having town hall meetings in counties that have never seen a representative in their area..ever! ) I was inspired by the hope for change he offered. Suddenly, I felt optimistic about a politician again. - We just need to get him elected for Senate. ?
Secondly, this seems off topic but it’s related...I am traveling to Austin Texas for @wizardworld (appearance dates Sept 21-22-23 - Come say Hi! ?? Thirdly, ( how it’s related ) since I will be there early I went ahead and registered to do some canvassing this week on BETO’s behalf.
I thought it was a great suggestion by my friend and a wonderful opportunity to lend not only my voice to his campaign but to offer my time as well.
So, ifffffff you’re interested, I’d like to invite anyone in the Austin area to join me this Tuesday Sept 18th from 11-2pm.

Go to betofortexas.com click on volunteer and follow the prompts. I chose to go door to door. If you’d like to get involved, do it! Add your zip code and find an existing block walk or create your own and we can do it together. Ps.You don’t have to “block walk”, there are a plethora of ways you can join the campaign effort. All of those options are available on the website.
