PRO TIP: Flat iron beach waves ?
Taking 1-inch sections, I bevel the hair away from the face turning the iron only one full rotation. Once I slide the iron down a few inches, I begin to straighten and lightly tug the ends to create a more beachy, lived-in feel. I also make sure to rake through the curls with my fingers to break up the waves. Because her hair was so silky, I added @joico Body Shake to add a little more texture and volume without leaving behind a dusty residue.
