I had the Monday blues yesterday but dressing up and getting out put a little pep in my step. It’s been so hard to be away from my family but I’m on the home stretch. I know a lot of you out there may think I’m crazy for being gone this long, but as a working mom providing for my family, these are the sacrifices I have to make. It’s not just about getting dressed up and having fun here either. When I come to New York, I work. Sometimes I feel like I have to justify it all, but I know deep down that what I’m doing for my family is most important right now. I struggle on the daily but I also try to enjoy this rare time too.
