One of the highlights of my weekend was getting to speak to the Brownsburg schools! My sister is a teacher, and she wanted me to talk to the kids about drive and determination. A lot of people assume this Hollywood business is luck. Well, a little magic dust never hurt, but I always come back to 3 things. 1-Opportunity is created and continues to arise because of Hard Work. 2-Respect others. I started working at 14, and my father instilled a work ethic in me and taught me to treat people with kindness. Learn their names and ask how they are. 3rd-Uniqueness! What makes you different is what makes you special. If you fold into the masses, you lose what makes you unique. When in the midst of self-doubt, dig deeper, and push through with tenacity and a deeper sense of who you are. These kids were curious and inspiring! Thank you @kgryskevich and the Brownsburg schools for inviting me to talk!
