Meet Kathryn!!! “Hi, My name is Kathryn Vaughn and I teach about 800 elementary kids visual art in a public title 1 public School in the rural south. My yearly budget is $100 for all of my art supplies. I end up spending a lot of my own money to buy my students art supplies. I work several additional jobs to support my classroom and my combat veteran husband. Everyday I struggle to survive on teacher pay but I keep going because I know my students need access to the arts. I believe all students need to experience success and some of my students may not excel in the traditional classroom or on the sports field, but they do in my classroom. I love what I do and my students but we need help. A feature would be life changing for the hundreds of students I serve
