I didn’t know there was an Olympic Capital, but it turns out there is and it’s right here. Lausanne has been the home of the IOC for over a hundred years & in that time some fifty five sporting associations have also set up base here, so it’s a bit of a sports mad city. Plus it’s right next to Lake Geneva (local name- Lac Léman) so there’s always watersports on the go too. And if that wasn’t enough when the temperature drops the conditions are perfect for winter sports, which is lucky because in 2020 Lausanne is hosting the Winter Youth Olympics @mylausanne @myswitzerland #inlovewithswitzerland #myvaud #ad
