I use to live in New York with the fight of earning respect from others to understanding I didn’t need validation from no one but myself. It was very hard and at times I did not know what I was doing nor did I know where I was going I just knew that I wanted to be someone. I wasn’t taken seriously and people thought I was joke but those who saw talent believed and invest and I thank all of you.
The truth is all these years I’ve never felt valid in the place I stand. Yes I have conquered a lot and many accomplishments have been met but just because you see the light it doesn’t mean it exist. I consistently have to remind myself daily that I’m someone and I’m valid before anyone can tell me. I’ve never felt so much love from my city like today it’s amazing and it’s humbling.
Someone asked me today why am I so positive and my response is because it’s not hard to be positive in a world filled with hate and despair. I want to spread love everyday even to those I do not know. I need love we all need love. It doesn’t cost to be kind always remember.
