At this exact time four years ago I was waddling into the hospital getting ready to be induced into labor with Cru. It was a hot muggy summer morning and I remember I could hardly sleep the night before because of my excitement / nervousness of the day to come. Sure enough, a few hours after getting hooked up to pitocin, his perfect little 7lb body was put screaming on my chest and our lives were changed forever. (Sam almost missed it on a quick snack run ;) ) His sweet little face was all bruised up from his quick exit and i remember his hair was this ashy blonde, almost grey color. Our first and only son. What a gift. He definitely gives me a run for my money but It’s an honor to be his mama and I pray that his passionate, strong-willed personality will serve this world well one day. I love you buddy....happy four. #crularson
