Going shorter and a curvy profile with @shannelmariano ✂️ ・・・ Step 1: I started in the back and parted it down the center. Starting from the bottom, I took horizontal sections that were slightly diagonal. ____________________ Step 2: I combed down each section as close as I could to 45 degrees towards the previous section. ____________________ Effect: Since each section has to travel down to the previous, each section became longer then the previous. ____________________ Step 3: Once I reach the occipital bone, I combed everything to a stationary guide. ____________________ Effect: Since all the sections above the occipital bone had to travel downwards farther, they got long and heavier quicker. ____________________ All the sections were pulled backwards, which caused it to be shorter in the back and longer in the front. ____________________ “Short hair pushes longer hair”. Since her hair is shorter on the bottom and longer on top, she will get “wash and wear” volume.
