Exuding it, owning it, and reminding yourself you have it no matter what anyone else has to say. The model, often pigeonholed as ‘curvy’ by the industry in which she works, was one of the first plus-size black women to be invited onto the main roster at IMG, where she was signed at just 15 years old. Since then, Marquita has had to work harder than most to get where she wants to go, breaking down barriers and challenging outdated conceptions of beauty along the way.
