After closing Roxy Theatre in New York, Life magazine photographed #GloriaSwanson standing amongst the ruins of the demolished Roxy. Coupled with Swanson’s famous role as an aging actress in #SunsetBoulevard, the image, taken in 1960, illustrates the end of significant period of Hollywood cinema.
