What kind of person are you?
It’s ok... think about it.
Going to events such as Revolve, you meet all kinds of people. Some amazing and other kinds, I don’t care to mention.
I’ll tell you the kind of person I am. And no matter who I’m around or which event you see me at, I stay the same.
I’m the kind of girl who will be awkward coming up to you when I want to meet you. It usually starts off with “I’m sorry to bother you”. I will canon ball into your DMs because you look cool as shit. I’m the girl who pulls out her CC first to buy shots because she wants everyone to have a good time. I will honestly compliment a girl because she deserves it. Not because I feel I have to or I have nothing to say. I will genuinely mean it. If you are shy, I will make you feel welcomed with an awful joke but it’ll be funny enough to break the Ice. If someone asks to take a picture with me and you’re next to me, prepare to be in that picture too. I will hug you hard and never make you feel like you are not important. If I have to leave a conservation, I will say excuse me and try to find you again to finish up what we were talking about. If people around me have bad energy or are shit talking other people, I will not stay around. If you are unkind to people that are unable to do anything for you, we will not be friends. I am the kind of person who wants kind people around me. I want to connect and be able to laugh about bullshit and open up about serious life situations. Going to these events can give me anxiety to be honest. I may appear to be “cool” but I’m really not. I just want to have awesome girlfriends who are friends with you because of similar morals and interests. You like Michael Bolton, Labyrinth and Target? It’s meant to be. Remember that when you are around people, we typically all want the same thing. Connection.
