Today, on #nationaldogday I honor you, my #smallandrare travel companion for the last 8 years. You fly quietly, you’re compact, you love making friends in the terminal and eating crumbs you find along the way. If we compiled all the bits of food you’ve recovered over the years, we’d probably have an entire Thanksgiving Dinner. You are so fast with your little shrimp legs when you freely run down hotel hallways, your plumage tail waving proudly, it’s a majestic sight to behold. You always bark to let me know someone is knocking at the door, you get really tired and pass out RIGHT where I am supposed to sleep and, when I wake up, you are always ready to take to the streets for a de-pooping. You’ve logged more miles in the sky than most people, you’ve ridden countless miles in your dog bag perched atop my rolling suitcase and, this morning in the Delta lounge, you ate an entire hard boiled egg. You are my heart, my #babylamb and I get lost in your eyes every time I look at you, which is often. You are so special @blanchewaits and I love you and I love how much our fans love you. It’s really hard for me not to rip your face off.
