Thank you to all the dance moms who recommended products so I could make the perfect bun for Harlow’s ballet recital!!! Never in a million years did I think Harlow’s short fine hair would be able to do this. You can swipe left to see the sad little bun “before picture” she’s been sporting all week, plus all the products I used to pull off the “after bun.” Here’s what I learned... STEP ONE: Spray dry shampoo and a little hairspray before you put the hair in a ponytail to up the texture and get all the fine hairs to cooperate. STEP TWO: Put mini doughnut over ponytail. Push hair over the doughnut and use one clear elastic over the top. Shift hair to cover the doughnut and pin any excess hair. STEP THREE: SPRAY THE CRAP OUT OF IT.
