I'm the only one trying to help this poor woman, Rhoda Hogan, who passed away in 2006 and left $125,000 to go to...her words.."An organization to be used to publicize and educate the public about the cruel effect of de-clawing cats and to support legislation forbidding it." Cornell talked a great talk and was awarded Mrs Hogan's bequest in 2007. ( The @pawproject was one of the organizations that was in the running for her bequest)
1)Cornell won't support the anti-declawing legislation in NY.
2) Cornell said they used $100,000 to make 6 short, simple videos that the feline behaviorist in it told me took two days to make, she wrote all the material for it, and doesn't remember being paid but if she was it was only a few $100. ??
In 2016, because I alerted the courts about this, Cornell told the NH court officials that they intend to use the remaining $25,000 to support novel public outreach efforts to encourage non-surgical alternatives to declawing.
It's been a year and a half and I haven't seen anything to indicate they have fulfilled this promise.?????
Can you please get an answer from Cornell and take 20 seconds to sign my petition to them.
