Welcome earthside, little Leila Moonchild ? Born July 26th, a little Leo like her brother. I’ve been safely tucked away in my home for the past month, living in a lily pad bubble of bliss, happily floating through the days with my new little one. Papa J and I were so ‘third child’ relaxed with Lei that we allowed her big brother and sister to fawn over her, kissing and smooching her even though they had little colds themselves ~ which kind of backfired when with both came down sick and ended up back in hospital ?? wahh!!! But after a little blip, I’m back in my bliss bubble with this little cherub ~ and the most profound feeling of being supported by my community, meals have been dropped off every second day for the past month, flowers and gifts arrive every day too... {how amazing is that Meal Train app thingy?!!} Johnny has been blown away by this sense of extended family, nothing like a big home cooked lasagne or lamb tagine arriving on your doorstep to make you feel wrapped in a big warm hug!! And I’ve just smiled and nodded thinking ‘my friends are actually angels’... {Thank you beautiful sisters, you know who you are?} ? This is my 3rd bub but my first ever actual maternity leave ~ I miss my team and all the creativity that comes with work, but I feel so grateful to have this time and am relishing every single second ??✨ xx @lizzyabegg {For those asking, Leila’s blanket is my Lily kimono ~ aka my hospital attire} x
