#HURRICANELANE UPDATE: TEMPORARY CLOSURES

Zippy’s Restaurants will begin to temporarily close locations across the state due to issues related to Hurricane Lane:
1.The Kahului location closed at 11:59pm on Wednesday, August 22, 2018.
2.The 22 ‘Oahu Zippy’s locations will close at 4 pm today (Thursday, August 23, 2018).
3.Zippy’s in Hilo at the Prince Kuhio Plaza will follow the mall’s opening or closing hours.

“The safety of our employees and their families is our foremost concern,” said Paul Yokota, president of Zippy’s Restaurants. “With the closure of schools and government services, our employees need to attend to family matters at this time. Also, many of our employees rely on public transportation to get to work, so the shut-down of bus services on O’ahu severely impacts the ability of our staff to get to and from work safely.”

A reopening date and time will be determined when conditions are deemed to be safe. The public is invited to monitor our website and Zippy’s various social media channels for more information.
