Rest in peace Vaughn Beals, 1928 – 2018. Beals joined #HarleyDavidson in 1975 as an engineer. In 1981, he led a group of investors who bought Harley-Davidson back from AMF and into independence. He became Chairman and CEO, leading HDMC through the turbulent early 1980s and back to profitability. We are saddened by his passing.
