I stand in the tradition of my freedom fighter forebears, as an abolitionist who dares to imagine a world without state sanctioned slavery and oppression. The world over we’ve seen demonstrable, contemporary means to secure public safety and personal consequence while prioritizing what’s effective over what’s oppressive; by asking “what works” not “what can we get away with?” It’s a question, of intention.
