It never ceases to amaze me how tactile lions are. Temperatures can be soaring and you’ll see a pride of lions lying on top of each other, connected by the sense of touch. The seasons seem to have changed here in SA and temps were in the late 20’s the other day. I was with George and Yame and they had long since greeted me. We were all just lying about when suddenly I felt this big paw reaching up for me and then just resting there on my chest. It was George whilst sleeping seemingly looking for some connectivity with me. Once his paw found me he fell back into a deeper sleep and was content. So was I. ?
