Cali, you are my whole heart. It’s every beat is a moment carved out of my life especially for you. Seems like yesterday when I only had 2 sons..... & only the Lord knows how many nights I prayed that my next child would be a daughter. Well, your mother got pregnant & I was super excited & I just knew you were in there slowly but surely preparing to make your entry into the world. Then one night she called me in the studio & said her stomach was hurting so bad she felt like she was going to die & in that moment I felt like I was too !!! I rushed to her & we went to the hospital only to find out that my baby was stuck in one of her tubes & she had to have an emergency surgery to take one of her tubes out & my baby would not survive. We were both devastated & sadly broken by a situation we could not control. It took your mother months to get back on her feet & even longer to heal emotionally but I stayed by her side until she was well. A year passed & one day she came home & was like “JAYCEON, cmon.... I’m ovulating & its time to try again lol... I was like damn, well... I’m not turning that down & so I got the job done.... & 9 months later you were born..... I felt like God really loved me. I felt special.. I was proud & I can promise you there has never been a moment in my life that made me feel better than I felt meeting you for the 1st time. You are the love of my life. I’ve never known a deeper love & there is no single thing on this earth I enjoy more than staring at you & thanking God. Just yesterday you were crawling around the house... from that to back flipping at cheer. Now look at you.. 8 years old & just everything I ever wanted in a daughter.... today is your day & I hope I have made it special for you as I owe you for making my life worth living.
