Floyd brought us here for the best fish tacos that I’ve ever had and it turns out that he used to eat at the owner’s very first restaurant in San Diego years ago. We were originally going to go to a different location today but ended up at this one, which is the only reason we happened upon talking with the owner and his brother who began their restaurant ventures 36 years ago. I love when serendipitous moments like this happen. The menu here is the exact same as that original joint too. And I think we’ve found our official Taco Tuesday spot.

This has definitely been a week for a minimal daily carry with my Vagabond Notebook (link in profile) being a constant companion along with the @franklinchristoph Model 02 in my favorite EPW matte acrylic by @brooks_803. And I cannot get enough of my Slingback Tote by @hustleandhideco. It’s already accompanied me across the country and been part of so many special memories in the making. I love how easily it converts from a sling to a handbag to a backpack too.
