'this is our youth' by @bleitchmusic is 4 years old?! don't know how that happened. arguably the best bleitch song to date, certainly my favorite and the easiest to write. I had most of the music for this for a few months prior, @maddiedeutch heard it and loved it, started to sing the staccato verse part over it, we had a brief conversation about the lyrical themes, both settled on the word 'youth' being in there somewhere, she left the room and wrote all the lyrics in under 10 minutes (not an exaggeration), we messed around with the melodies for the rest of the afternoon, came back the following day recorded all the vocals, I played in that outro synth lead, MD did some BV's, I mixed it and it was done.
