I developed cystic acne in my late twenties. It was painful, both physically and emotionally. I felt uncomfortable leaving my apartment and avoided social interactions as much as possible. Whenever I went outside, I kept on thinking that people were looking at the bumps on my face and not me. I sought treatment and over the span of 11 months, my acne subsided. I’m working on feeling more comfortable in my bare skin, but to this day, I’m still not comfortable walking outside without makeup. When @Olay challenged me with walking in #NYFW without makeup on, I immediately thought… no thank you! LOL ? But just thinking about all these years of working on my skin and how I feel inside, I know I needed this push to go outside my comfort zone and be fearless. I’m embracing the #Olay28Day, but if you see me shaking during #NYFW, you now know why ? #FaceAnything #Olay
