During my short break after the Rio Olympics I was fortunate enough to attend a Layne Beachley Foundation workshop, where somebody asked me the question "what else do you want to do in gymnastics before leaving the sport?" Naturally springing to mind were my goals of a home Commonwealth Games and other various competition related achievements. But after little more thought I realised that although I was driven to achieve on the carpet, my passion for RG started to shift from my own dreams to supporting and inspiring the dreams of the girls that would soon take my place. I am very excited to announce the launch of The Shooting Stars Mentoring Program! A program that aims to provide mentoring and guidance for young RG athletes who have those intangible qualities that are seen in a champion in the making. Applications for the yearlong 'scholarship' program are now open and close on August 30th.
