Ever since I was a child, my biggest dream was to tread the boards in an opera, because stepping into a character’s shoes and bringing them to life on stage, as part of an opera, gives the singer the chance to gain deeper knowledge of the role, which knows no equal.
Recently I tackled "Lucia di Lammermoor", the masterpiece (by Gaetano Donizetti) that is filled with wonderful arias. It is immersed in gloomy Scotland, the land of so many myths, and represents a thrilling debut, in the role of Edgardo, the unhappy lover. The quintessentially romantic plot gives the audience (and the actors) the unmissable opportunity to personally experience tempestuous, powerful feelings, such as bruised pride and cruelty, as well as the absolute devotion of love.

Fin da ragazzo il mio più grande sogno è stato quello di calcare la ribalta operistica. Perché entrare in un personaggio, farlo rivivere in scena, all’interno di una rappresentazione lirica, offre al cantante la possibilità di un approfondimento del ruolo che non ha eguali.
Di recente ho affrontato "Lucia di Lammermoor", capolavoro (di Gaetano Donizetti) intriso di pagine meravigliose… Un tuffo nella Scozia tenebrosa e fitta di leggende, un debutto emozionante, nei panni di Edgardo, innamorato infelice. L’intreccio, così tipicamente romantico, dona alla platea (ed anche agli interpreti) l’imperdibile occasione di vivere in prima persona sentimenti tumultuosi e imponenti... Come l’orgoglio ferito, la crudeltà, ma anche la dedizione assoluta all’amore.
