These photos were taken in Beppu-city. Beppu is a one of famous Onsen (hot springs). This week is “Bon” in Japan. Many people go back to their hometown or go to trips in this season. So Tokyo is not so crowded more than usual. I want to go to Onsen !!! ♨︎ ※ Bon (盆) is a Japanese Buddhist custom to honor the spirits of one's ancestors.

This custom has evolved into a family reunion holiday during which people return to ancestral family places and visit and clean their ancestors' graves, and when the spirits of ancestors are supposed to revisit the household altars.
