Just found this video and thought I’d share the story behind it:
A few years back, I auditioned for a dance movie. The director loved my audition and they wanted me to submit a hip hop dance audition video before they made their final decision. The only problem was, I’ve never trained in hip hop in my entire life. I’m a goofy kid from a farm town in Ohio ?. So I hired a choreographer and we spent two afternoons putting this dance together. It’s not perfect, but I’m pretty proud of it for getting it together with no training on short notice. The role came down to me and one other guy, and the studio eventually went with the other guy. I lost the role. That’s life. But six months later, that same studio hired me on Fifty Shades Freed. Just wanted to share this to show that sometimes you get pulled out of your comfort zone, but your hard work and persistence will carry you through. Even for a goofy farm town kid. ??????
