I feel like most people come to Instagram to see art & clothes & professionally shot girls in bikini tops & memes & animals.
So this post has gotta be a real turn off.
Being a single parent is scary on so many levels; I’m constantly adjusting socially, financially, emotionally.
After two years, there’s still no new normal. I expected there would be.
So I cry sometimes and that’s new. I guess maybe the crying is what’s ended up becoming the new normal to me.
I’ve shared all the nice things about my life online since 2001.
If I didn’t share how responsible I am yet weirdly helpless I often feel, the rest would be bullshit.
I hate bullshit.
Okay, go back to scrolling and liking the happy beautiful pictures with glib captions. They’re great too.
