A #ThursdayThought from baby Liz ??‍♀️ This is me in 7th grade. Yes, I look like one of The Beatles. Yes, I’m wearing a hooded t-shirt and my mom’s vest. I was a giant nerd, & I was picked on (a lot). Then, my jr year of high school, I was slut-shamed and bullied daily. I wanted to die. It was really bad, I don’t like to talk about it because it’s taken me a really long time to not feel embarrassed or ashamed. So, here’s my thought - if you’re someone who is bullied, find strength in yourself & comfort in good people, and know that it isn’t going to last forever. If you’re someone who bullies, stop. Just stop. Figure out why you’re doing it, and address that issue instead. Find a new way to get a laugh, and watch how many doors open for you. .
