[SOUND ON] We were buzzing to have been invited by @visitlondon to dine at one of the hottest culinary venues in all of the land, The Araki London. It’s a hard place to get into, and rightly so. Mitsuhiro Araki garnered three Michelin stars (and worldwide culinary fame) for his sushi bar in Tokyo before packing up and relocating to this nine-cover venue in Mayfair. The approach to food here is meticulously traditional, with all diners served a fixed menu of Edomae sushi by Mr Araki himself in the style of a historic tea ceremony, or sado.
Mr Araki put on a special knife skills show for us here, slicing this avocado so thinly it was almost transparent. ??‍??
