Rehearsal. First and foremost, I am an actor at heart. That’s why I love the creative process of writing and directing with actors in mind. It’s where I feel most at home. This is my favorite part of the filmmaking process, hashing it out with other actors, discussing character, intention, and finding the heart of what the scene is all about. I loved getting to work with some fantastic actors in DC this week who were so passionate about digging into their characters that it made writing for them and directing them a complete joy. ??
