With the release of #MaddenNFL19 looming many sports fans and gamers also excitedly anticipate the hot new soundtracks as well.
One such popular track, “Big Bank” by #YG, is also featured in the game. However, in a verse within the song, where YG alludes to athlete turned activist #ColinKaepernick, the former players name has been omitted with a bleep. ————————————————————————Here are the lyrics below: "Feed me to the wolves, now I lead the pack and s---. You boys all cap, I'm more Colin Kaepernick." ———————————————————————— According to a statement issued by EA Thursday, "Members of our team misunderstood the fact that while we don't have rights to include Colin Kaepernick in the game, this doesn't affect soundtracks. We messed up, and the edit should never have happened. We will make it right, with an update to Madden NFL 19 on August 6 that will include the reference again. “
