Loren, the photographer of this image, was an assistant at CAA working on Doug Robinson’s desk when we met through friends.
I was on my first series, Malibu Shores on NBC.
We dated a while but became very good friends over time. ( In fact, Loren was in the delivery room taking pictures of Donovan’s birth.) •
Back then we would often set out on the weekends to do some kind of creative venture. Whether it was filming a short or a photo shoot.
It was always so fun and I learned a lot about being a subject. •
Later, Loren went to film school at USC. Now he is a documentary film maker, husband to a brilliant woman, and Father to 2 beautiful children. •
I guess the message here is; If you are a creative, stay with it, even if for your own personal artistic expression. It’s important as an artist to fulfill that calling. -Keeps you sane!
Surround yourself with other artists who inspire you and include you in their ideas/ projects. Work together. Go out and ✨create. ✨
