Running adventures: woke up this morning at 6am to go running but little aches made me turn around and go home, quite disappointed I might add. Later in the afternoon I tried again, this time feeling fine. I bought a pair of Asics last week which I’m loving, but today I experimented with barefoot running (on a treadmill- asphalt just isn’t an option in 100°F) It totally changed everything about my posture, gait, etc. I will be paying for this with my calves tomorrow... but loved it. I know its a little controversial in the running world, but is anyone else a fan?

As aventuras da correria: hoje acordei ás 6am para ir correr mas por causa de pequenas dores aqui e ali, acabei por voltar para casa sem sucesso e desapontada. À tarde tentei outra vez e a coisa deu-se. Comprei um par de Asics a semana passada dos quais estou a gostar muito mas hoje experimentei correr descalça (na máquina- o asfalto não é opção em 38°C) Mudou tudo sobre a minha postura, posicionamento dos pés etc. Amanhã vou pagá-las com os gémeos... mas adorei. Sei que é controverso no mundo dos corredores mas mais alguém gosta de correr descalço?
