Answering 4 Frequently Asked Questions here! 1) For blonde hair, I use light earth tones (usually E51 and E31). It’s important to think of blonde hair as “beige” and not “yellow” to achieve a natural color on paper. 2) I combine the use of @copicmarker with colored pencils to add a little grit to the texture. I use @fabercastellglobal Polychromos colored pencils (the one I use here is called “Nougat”). 3) To avoid bleeding I use @copicmarker Multiliner pens and I apply them AFTER I have applied marker color. They’re the only ones I’ve found that will not bleed! 4) I learned to draw many years ago and took art classes since I was a child.
