@RachelOffDuty checking in one last time to share this beautiful sunset on the leeward coast of O‘ahu. I can't surf to save my life (don't ever ask me to give you a lesson!). In fact, I never even enjoyed boogie boarding. But two water sports I've fallen deeply in love with are canoeing and stand-up paddleboarding. There's something about doing yoga on a paddleboard that's as mentally challenging as it is physically exerting. On this particular day during my most recent trip back to the islands, I took a paddleboard yoga class at sunset. At first, I was worried that I would not be able to see, so I wouldn't enjoy it. I ate my words as soon as I fixed my eyes on this view. This sunset, especially when witnessed from the ebbing and flowing of a paddleboard out on the water, was indescribable. In fact, all sunsets on the leeward side of the island are magical. The colors of the sky slowly melt into one another until, all at once, the entire ocean seems to glow orange, purple, yellow, and indigo. It's truly something special.
