Congratulations to the courageous workers and their unions at Disneyland for their wonderful victory. They are an inspiration to low wage workers all over this country who are struggling for justice and dignity. As a result of this new contract thousands of poorly paid Disneyland employees will soon be seeing their wages go up by some $4 an hour. Make no mistake about it: What this shows is that when workers stand together, form a union and take on the greed of one of the most powerful and profitable corporations in America, there is nothing that they cannot accomplish.
